July 23, 2008-Day 16 Wednesday - School went as usual. We ate at Betty's again and then took a taxi back to the house to drop of Jenna & Kasondra and then went to Soda la U for Quinten and Abbey's horseback riding. It has been raining all day long. Horseback riding lessons are at the hotel Casa Tuirre just outside of town. The kids are going to be lead around the grounds, on horses, in the rain. Sounds like fun, right? They seem to think so. Abbey really enjoyed it but Quinten would rather jump in the puddles.
After we were done horseback riding, we went home to get ready for cooking classes. We had such a great time last week. We were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, Betty had removed the raft she had last week because there were more people this week and she didn't do a dessert with the kids so it wasn't as much fun for them. We aren't really learning to cook these dishes. We are just cutting up a bunch of veggies. But we are getting the recipes if anyone wants to try one.
Finally I took a picture of the street we live on and a picture of the front of our house. We were a little shocked in the beginning too.
